General Housekeeping

As happens from time to time, I've had to go in and change a few things on the blog roll.

I deleted the link to The Secret Life of Andrades Girl. I don't know what happened to her, but the blog didn't get updated for months, and a recent attempt to go there resulted in the message, "Blog Not Found". So it's had to come off the list.

There have also been two updates. Chris' Firehouse moved and is now Chris' Kinky Firehouse. Sparkle's blog, Life In Motion, is now called At A Kinky House, and Sparkle is now calling herself Serenity Everton. Why the name change, I'm not sure. When I first saw "Serenity", I thought it might be in tribute to the Joss Whedon series, Firefly, and the subsequent movie, Serenity. But now I doubt it, and I have no idea where "Everton" came from. You'll have to drop by her blog and ask her.

If you're going through the blog roll I have listed and come across any errors, or find that blogs have changed or disappeared, please let me know so I can make the necessary changes. I want to keep the blog roll current and make sure anyone using it can connect with all the wonderful bloggers out there.

Or, if you're a blogger who regularly reads here and you make a change--whether it's a name change or moving to a new site--drop me an e-mail at DoctKen@aol.com and I'll see to it that your link remains current.

I'll be making some additions to the blog roll in the near future. Some were featured on Bonnie's My Bottom Smarts blog, and Brambleberry Blush posted a list of four interesting blogs not too long ago. I'll be adding some from each source, plus a few I came across on my own blog wanderings.

Happy reading!

About the name change, I've had the name Serenity Everton for awhile as my pen name. I am really just consolidating my identities. 'sparkle' and the reasons for it I outgrew a decade ago, honestly, and being called sparkle was starting to make me feel somewhat like the teenage name it was. Maybe I'm too old to sparkle anymore?

But, I'm certainly not discarding all vestiges of the name. My Fetlife and Twitter accounts are and continue to be under sparkle, as well as my e-mail address.

Anyway, thanks for the updates!

Serenity--thanks for the clarification! Although I doubt that you'll ever be to old to sparkle....
And "you're welcome" in regard to the updates!

Thanks for the updates, Dr. Ken. Always like to keep up to date and you help with this.

Serenity, I agree with Dr, Ken, you will always sparkle/Sparkle.

Thanks Doc! It is nice to know that some men know how to clean house. :)

I think if you take a quick run through your blogroll, and click on each one in turn, you'll find a few changes. But I won't say any more. I don't want to spoil the fun for you.

Hugs,
Hermione

Michael--you're welcomne. I put the links up so people reading my blog would have some other good blogs to check out--doesn't do much good if the links are no longer viable...

CJ--I know how to fix a blog roll. My apartment, on the other hand....

Hermione--considering that my old computer freezes up if I visit too many sites, it'd be easier (and quicker) if people would just tell me, "Hey, this blog (or link) has changed!"

Oh, all right, but just one! The blog of a midlife crisis is gonzo.

Hermione

Thanks for the update...there was something very refreshing about moving to the new site. If it weren't for the fact that I'm deeply entrenched in grad school now, I'd probably be blogging more.

And my wife will always sparkle, whatever she chooses to call herself.

Sadly yes, Barb's blog has been gone for awhile...part of some life changes on her part. Good ones at that, but the blog was a casualty of them nonetheless.
