It's very sad. Behind the comical exterior, he was a very troubled man. I liked him best in Patch Adams, although Mrs Doubtfire was funny too. Oh, and Dead Poets' Society and Good Will Hunting. He overcame the silliness of Mork and Mindy, thank goodness!

Nothing less than a comic genius. Although, like his idol and mentor, Jonathan Winters, he suffered for many years from depression and possibly other mental issues. A brilliant talent. RIP Robin...

Yes, Dr.Ken. Robin Williams was one of a kind comedian, and a true gentleman, all his life. And one might add Lauren Bacall, another one Hollywood's legends to this list. May they both rest in peace.
