I have never thought of a pre/spanking ritual but I love the idea. Something to build the anticipation...
sexuallysubmissivewoman -- exactly. And it can be a variety of things. Going and getting the hairbrush (or paddle, or whatever) and bringing it to whoever is going to be spanking you. Perhaps there is a certain "punishment outfit" you need to change into. Or, as the photo seems to show--baring your bottom and getting into position and waiting for the spanker.
