Welcome to the 2nd day of the LOVE OUR LURKERS celebration!

Why a 2nd day, you may ask? Because if you're a lurker and doing what we hope you're doing--taking this once-a-year opportunity to de-lurk and leave a little comment on your favorite blogs--well, we know doing that takes time. And then if you go to Hermione's Heart and check out the list of blogs taking part in LOL Day, you might decide to visit some blogs you haven't checked out before--and that takes time! For a lot of people, trying to do that all in just one day is darn near impossible. So LOL Day is now spread out over two days to make it easier for you to de-lurk and comment on as many blogs as you want. Including--hopefully--this one.

I look forward to your comments, whether you're a regular who has commented here in the past or if you're de-lurking and commenting for the first time. Tell me what you like. Tell me what you don't like. Ask me a question if you feel like it. You don't have to write much, but please do leave a comment.

BTW, just so you know--I have this blog set up so that the comments don't get posted right away. They have to wait for me to moderate them. Once I've had the chance to look them over, then I'll okay them and they'll appear here on the blog. Sorry for the delay, but with the amount of spam that seems to get directed at the blog, it's the best way for me to handle things.

Saturdays on Spanking Minnesota are what I call "Spankable Saturday". It's usually several photos of ladies featuring the spankable portion of their anatomy--photos that might make you wish you could deliver a few swats. (And sometimes, it's obvious that some lucky Spanker already has!) Here are the Spankables for this Saturday:

Love Our Lurkers 11

Welcome to Day 1 of the 11th annual LOVE OUR LURKERS celebration!

Every year we like to set aside a day or two for all of our wonderful readers out there who lurk--that is, those who come in, read the latest post, maybe browse around the blog, and then leave without commenting. Everybody does it. Heck, I lurk on a lot of blogs! We deeply appreciate the fact that you come in and look around. It's true--we Love Our Lurkers.

But once a year, we ask that you change your lurking ways and leave a comment. We really want to hear from you. Tell me what you like about the blog, or what you don't like. Ask me a question--I'll do my best to answer it. Or just say "hello". Whatever you feel like sharing would be fine. If you've commented on this blog in the past--leave a comment anyway. All are welcome to participate.

My thanks to Bonnie of My Bottom Smarts who helped organize the original Love Our Lurkers day. And thanks also to Hermione of Hermione's Heart for helping to keep the tradition going. You can find a list of those participating in LOL 11 on her blog here.. It's a good chance to check out some blogs you haven't seen before--and, of course, leave a little note to say how much you enjoyed their posts. I know they'd be thrilled to hear from those of you visiting their blogs for the first time.

And for those of you who may be visiting SPANKING MINNESOTA for the first time--I'm Dr. Ken, a lifelong Top and spanking enthusiast. Over the years, I've accumulated a lot of spanking photos in several computer archives, and now I use them in my posts. Some are old, some are new--or, at least, newer. Some you may have seen a hundred times, some--I hope--you're seeing for the first time. I enjoy introducing fellow Spankos to old favorites as well as new finds.

I post daily. Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday are sort of potpourri days--the posts might be about anything, from Vintage spanking photos to spanking illustrations to book and magazine covers to birthday spankings to a photo set. The other four days of the week are more structured. Thursdays, for example, have just recently become "Taking Turns Thursday"--photos where the Spanker and Spankee wind up switching roles. Fridays are dedicated to "Friday's Scream Queen"--a photo which shows the spankee having a decided vocal reaction to what is happening. Since today is Friday, here's an example:

Saturday is "Spankable Saturday"--photos of ladies with beautiful behinds that would make a Spanker's palm start to itch. And Sunday is "Spanking Sunday"--a variety of spanking photos from all over the web.

So, if this is your first time here, browse around and if you like what you see, please keep coming back. If you don't like what you see, thanks for at least checking the blog out.
