'Twas The Night Before Christmas

It's Christmas Eve.

The whole world over, young ones are getting into their pajamas and climbing into bed with visions of sugar plums dancing in their heads.  The sooner they go to sleep, the sooner morning will be here, and all the excitement of Christmas Day can begin.

At least, that's the theory.

Every year, of course, there are always a few naughty young ladies who, instead of going to sleep as they're told, decide to wait for a little while, sneak out of their bedroom, and hide out within view of the Christmas tree, waitingt to see if they can catch sight of Santa Claus arriving with all their presents.  Maybe they just want to see if he really does exist.  Perhaps they have plans to ask him for one or two more things that weren't on their Christmas Wish lists.  Who knows?  It seems like a pretty good plan--until they're caught!

It might be too late for this disobedience to be added to Santa's "Naughty" list, but never fear--they will be dealt with in the time-honored tradition and then sent straight back to bed!
