Two Blogs Added
I just got back from another Crimson Moon party. I got to play with some of my favorite people and, as always, there were some I wanted to play with but just never managed to make the connection. Next time, I hope......
My blogging buddy, CherylKay of Positively Spanking, was there. I know she really enjoyed the party because her St. Louis Cardinals won the World Series. :-)
I got to meet, albeit briefly, a lovely and charming couple attending their first CM party. Christopher and Ella are a great young couple, very much in love, and living the DD life. Their Halloween costumes were among the best at the party--he as Hugh Hefner (he actually did resemble a young Hugh Hefner, now that I think about it) and she as a Playboy Bunny, complete with the ears and the cottontail. They also have a blog, and it's my pleasure to add it to the blog roll on the right of this page. It's called C & e - Life In DD.
I also recently received a "friend" request from a young lady on FetLife, which I was happy to accept. (I'm on FetLife under the name Dr_Ken, if anyone's interested.) She also has a blog called Alex In Spankingland, and a link has been added to the blogroll for that, as well.
As always, I encourage you to go to these blogs, look them over and check things out. If you do, please be sure to leave a comment. All bloggers, and especially relatively new bloggers, love to get input and feedback from their readers. It also lets them know that someone is, indeed, out their reading their posts and interested in what they have to say. So please, leave a comment and remember to tell them that Dr. Ken sent you!
I wonder--in Spankingland, does the Red Queen shout, "Off with her pants!"?

Here You Go, Mr. B!
Well, I'm happy to announce that a reader by the name of Ingen came through and sent me copies of both pictures! What can I say? I think I have the best readers around, bar none!
So here you go, Mr. B., courtesy of Ingen: Yardstick Dance and In The Parlor, both by the artist known as Endart.

Comments....We Get Comments
Among the comments I received on that post was one from a Mr. B. He was also an Endart fan. Sadly, a hard drive crash had cost him two of his favorite Endart drawings--one called "Yardstick Dance" and another called "In The Parlor".
Being the warm, sweet and lovable soul that I am, I immediately went into my archives, hoping to find copies of those pictures. If I could find them, I planned to post them so Mr. B could get new copies of his old favorites. Sadly, my search for those titles came up empty. I had one called, "Yardstick For Jen" and I found three that started with the words, "In The....", i.e., "In The Living Room", In The Lounge" and "In The Morning". Close, but no match.
I wasn't overly surprised that I didn't have those drawings. As much as I like Endart's work, I certainly didn't download or make a copy of everything he did. For example, I personally am a big fan of OTK spanking, so anything Endart did depicting an OTK scenario I probably downloaded. Any other position, I very likely passed on it. I like drawings that depict the actual spanking. Anything showing a scene from before the spanking, or immedicately after, were also probably not saved. If the drawing showed an implement I wasn't a big fan of, i probably ignored it. For example, I'm not a big fan of canes--i don't use them, and I'm not crazy about pictures showing them being used, so I wouldn't have kept a drawing showing one in use. I'm picky that way. So it's a shame that I didn't have either drawing that Mr. B was looking for, but it's not a big shock that I don't have them, either.
So I'm appealling to the readers out there: If you happen to have a copy of either of those Endart drawings, please send them to me as an e-mail attachment, and I'll post them for Mr. B.
Or, if you have a blog, post one or both of the drawings yourself and let me know about it. I'll post the information here, and hopefully Mr. B and others will flock to your site to take a look.
Help a fellow Spanko out, okay?
In the meantime, even though it's not the right title, here's the Endart drawing, "Yardstick For Jen". Because, let's face it, you just can't go wrong with an Endart drawing.

"I Had The Strangest Dream...."
Normal rules do not apply in dreams. I'm tempted, in fact, to say there are no rules at all when it comes to whatever the sleeping mind conjures up. You don't even necessarily have to be yourself in your dreams. I've had dreams where I can fly, just like Superman. For that matter, I may have even dreamed that I was Superman. I know that, on a couple of occasions, I dreamed that I was the ever-lovin' blue-eyed Thing from the Fantastic Four. Most recently, I dreamed I was Wolverine of the X-Men. (I should be so lucky as to look like Hugh Jackman....) I don't seem to do a lot of thinking in my dreams, just act or react.
The strangest and most unsettling dream I ever had started in a Prison Hospital Ward. In the standard twisted logic of dreams, I was there to be checked out by the prison Doctor to make sure that I was healthy enough to be executed. The dream ended with me standing on a platform with a noose around my neck. Needless to say, I had trouble falling back to sleep after waking up from that one!
And, of course, I've had dreams about spanking.
When it comes to spanking dreams, I've had some that had a complete plot, and I've had some where I just grab the nearest lady and turn her over my knee. Within the context of the dream, it certainly seems like there's a reason for it, but I have no idea what it is. I've dreamt that I have a perfectly lovely lady in position, bottoms up and waiting, and when I've tried to swat her, my arm meets resistance, like trying to swat someone underwater. And now that I mention it, I'm pretty sure I did have a dream where I spanked a girl underwater.
I'm tempted to say that, when it comes to my dream spankees, I have no idea who they are most of the time. They're ladies I've never seen or met before, or so it would seem. But scientists and researchers (i.e., Those Who Know Such Things) assure us this isn't the case. Your mind does not make up people to inhabit your dreams. Every single person that you dream about is somebody you know, met, or have seen somewhere before. You don't necessarily know them well--maybe they were a face in a shopping mall crowd, or someone you sat next to on a bus or an airplane. Maybe they were coming out of a shop as you were going in. Total strangers that, for some reason, your mind chooses to interact with and to populate the dreamscape. As I said before, normal rules just don't apply when it comes to dreams.
At least, that's what I thought.
I recently had a dream that--for me, anyway--was somewhat different from the usual.
I was in a restaurant, seated at a table, I had apparently finished dining. I pulled out a credit card and placed it on a silver tray, waiting for the waitress to come. Suddenly, a lovely Oriental lady stepped up to the table. She was very slender, her hair done up, and she was wearing a light woolen coat that was buttoned all the way up. The coat, I remember, was sort of a rough weave, white with strands of a gold color woven through for highlights. A green dress hung out from under the hem of the coat, stopping just above her knees.
"Nice card," she said.
Not being any too sure how to respond to that, I replied, "Oh. Thanks" The card was a little bit gaudy in terms of color, but other than that, it seemed like just a normal card to me.
She then asked, "May I touch it?" An odd request, but hey--it's a dream, right?
I picked the card back up, and all of sudden, I was in a debate with myself. I could maybe turn this into an opening, I told myself. At the same time, I was thinking, no, you just don't do that sort of stuff. But, being a dream, common sense lost out.
"You could," I told her, "But then I'd have to spank you. And you wouldn't want that, and I wouldn't want that...."
Okay, that last part is an obvious lie, because spanking her is precisely what I did want.
She walked away, and I put the card back down on the silver tray. Suddenly, the lady in the white coat came back, and with a wicked grin on her face, she reached out with her forefinger and poked the card, touching it once...twice....three times. Then she walked away again.
Even in a dream, I recognized a playful challenge. I pushed back my chair and stood up. I unbuttoned the sleeve of my shirt and started to roll it up as I turned. The lady was standing by the cashiers desk, watching me.
And that's when my mind started a fierce debate with myself.
I found myself thinking, "What are you doing?! You don't do this kind of thing! You're in public, you don't even know this lady. She could sue you or press charges. You're not really going to do anything, so stop it!"
At which point.....I woke up!
Now, here it is, days later, and I'm still saying to myself, "She was cute, it was a dream, supposedly anything goes....and my mind starts a moral debate with me to talk me out of it??? Since when does that happen?"
It's a question I have no answer for. Maybe I should sleep on it.
And if I'm lucky....maybe the lady will come back in another dream.
And if I'm really lucky--maybe this time I'll finish what I started....without the inner monologue!

The Cherry Red Challenge: Post Your Favorite Pic
It all started on The Cherry Red Report.
Dave--Mr. Cherry Red himself--put up a post featuring his Favorite Pic Of All Time. He then challenged other bloggers to do the same.
The sad fact, however, is.....I can't do it.
There are just too many good photos out there for me to pick just one. I have favoites, certainly, but that's just it--"favorites" with an "s" on the end. I can't pick just one.
So I'm going to do what another participant in this challenge has already done. I'm going to cheat.
Instead of my favorite picture of all time......I'm going to post my favorite drawing.
I'm sure it will come as no surprise when I say it was done by Endart. His site was one of the first I ever paid money to belong to, and I looked forward to his drawings every month.
I'm not entirely sure what it is about this drawing that I like so much. There's no bared bottom, no raised skirt. It's fairly demure, actually, in that respect. It's a fairly standard Father/College-aged Daughter scenario. Maybe I appreciate it for the possible role-playing aspects that it presents. I like the look of apprehension on the girl's face--she knows she's in for it., And I like the way the plaid skirt drapes over her bottom. It defines the bottom without having to reveal it. And it probably helps that she eminds me a little of a lady I know--a lady who should be in this position far more often than she really is.
The drawing is called "Warm Under Plaid", and judging by the stern look on the man's face, it's about to get a whole lot warmer!
So, there you have it--and now it's your turn.
If you write a blog, and are reading this--post your favorite picture! I've done it, Dave (of course) has done it, Bonnie has done it on My Bottom Smarts, Pink has done it on The Pink Report, and doubtless others have done it, too. Go check out these other offerings, including Dave's original post on The Cherry Red Report, and then post your own. It'll be fun to see what everybody picks!
And if you don't have a blog--happy browsing! I hope you enjoy the results.
