Birdie with a yellow bill, hopped upon my window sill, cocked a shining eye and said -- what's that up in the road. . .a head?
I'm a little too young to have seen the original show, but I am old enough to remember Clancy, Carmen, Willie Ketchem, and of course, the great Casey Jones and Roundhouse Rodney!
Great pic, Dr. Ken, and Happy Vernal Equinox Day to you. I've heard many euphemisms for penis but NEVER weed whacker. I'm so tempted to tell you to plant your seed deep but I'll refrain. *G*
Radha--Glad to hear it, since that's the primary purpose behind them--i.e., some stuff just for fun. I take no credit for the poem, however. I remember my mother quoting it way back when I was a wee lad. The short version uses "flowers"--there's a longer version that uses the line,"I wonder where the birdies is". It then goes on to say that the birds are on the wing, and how absurd, I thought the wing was on the bird. Or something like that.
Hermione--Hmmm. Maybe your behavior needs pruning? :-) Happy Spring to you, too!
Kim--thanks! Come on back as often as you like. I remember watching Axel's Tree House (some local programming for kids here in Minnesota), but I don't think the poem came from there. It wouldn't surprise if Clellan Card used it, though!
Michael--git yer mind outta the gutter. :-) Trust me--it's not a euphemism. (If it was, why would someone have to "get" it for me?) A lovely lady and a lovely bottom--I meant weed-whacker with the emphasis on the "whacker" (or "whack her") part.
Hermione--don't worry. That's NOT what it means. You may resume your normal coloring.... :-) Now, what RON means--could be a whole different ballgame....
Season--I remember those as well as Axel And His Dog. Carmen the Nurse, Tallulah the cat, Towser the Dog.... I also remember Captain Ken (no relation), and T. N. Tatters, a hobo clown in the spirit of Emmett Kelly....Good times long gone...
I'm Dr. Ken, 72, and single. I'm a Spanker, I live in Minnesota--hence the blog name! Spanking Minnesota is updated daily.
While the main thrust of this blog is adult consensual spanking, it's not the ONLY thing you'll find here. There will be posts about spanking, of course, but I reserve the right to post about anything I want. So you'll find song parodies (usually spanking related), photos with captions that I make up (usually spanking related) and photos of ladies with very spankable bottoms (obviously spanking related) and occasionally posts about non-spanking related topics. I think spanking is fun, whether it's "mock punishment" (or "funishment"), something a little more disciplinary, or a spanking just for the heck of it, and I want this blog to reflect that..
I'm a member of the Minnesota Spanking Group on FetLife, and was a long-time member of Chicago Crimson Moon. I've been known to attend other parties around the nation, such as the Texas All-State Spanking party. If you see me at one of these events, feel free to come up and say, "Hi", and if you'd like to play--just ask me!
. So, do YOU need a spanking, young lady?

These last few posts totally crack me up! And, you are quite the poet! Happy Spring!
love,

Great find, Dr. Ken.
Ron calls his favourite implement the "weed whacker" and now I wonder just what is going through his mind when he uses it.
Hugs and happy spring!
Hermione
Oh, a Clellan (Axel) Card fan!

Oh, my, is THAT what it means?
My face is redder than my bottom. And as for Ron, I thought he meant the garden tool. Oops! I mean...
Sigh. Must be vernal equinox fever!
