(And before any of you well-meaning souls out there start yelling, "How dare you call Susan an animal"--the lyric she's quoting is from a song that was recorded and released by Eric Burdon and the Animals...it'smeant as a reference)
Susan -- It was right around the time that I started listening to rock music. "House of the Rising Sun", "Don't Let Me Be Misunderstood", "Spill the Wine"....heard a lot of Eric Burdon and the Animals in those days.
I am trying to feel sorry for the girl but ....
ReplyDeleteSusan -- You can feel empathy and still know that she probably deserves exactly what she's getting
DeleteWise words as always Dr Ken
ReplyDeleteSusan -- Are you trying to get on my good side? lol
DeleteP.s. -- I don't know about "as always", but occasionally I hope I get it right...
DeleteGet on your good side Dr Ken? Certainly not. I am always honest as well as virtuous.
ReplyDeleteSusan -- If you say so. Better to get on my good side than for me to start to focus on your backside....
DeleteThat was a good one Dr. Ken.☺️ Hi! Susan. Bye for now, Aussie Jenny
ReplyDeleteAussieJenny -- Glad you appreciated it, thanks!
DeleteNow come on Aussie Jenny, what exactly was a 'good one' in Dr Ken's posts? Are you trying to be teacher's pet?
ReplyDeleteSusan -- Aaaand Susan's name goes up a little on the "Needs to be Spanked" list.... 😁 (And just to be clear, Teacher's Pets still get spanked, so...)
DeleteSee Susan, Dr. Ken ❣️us equally. Bye for now, Aussie Jenny.
ReplyDeleteAussieJenny -- It's true, it's true
DeleteI'm just a soul whose intentions are good
ReplyDeleteOh Lord, please don't let me be misunderstood
Susan -- You Animal...:-)

ReplyDeleteLOL. I just had to use it because it is my mother in law's favourite.
ReplyDeleteDr Ken is, of course and who could doubt it, right. My mother in law loved The Animals who recorded that in 1965!

DeleteVery good reference, I remember it well. Bye for now, Aussie Jenny.
