Thanks, Doc! Mandrake was such a hit (har) that he was copied over and over AND over when comic books arrived and their makers were looking for material, but I don't recall any of them doing any spanking! Not even Ibis, who had an Ibistick, for goodness sake!
Meanwhile, the Phantom-- the first costumed character in comic strips and Mandrake's "brother," being also from the mind of Lee Falk-- did a LOT of spanking ove the years!
