Looking Back
The 9th edition of "Love Our Lurkers" day is about 2 weeks in the past, now. I have to say, I didn't get as many people to de-lurk as I would have liked. Still, I did hear from old friends, and also from some new ones.
The nice thing about many of the newly de-lurked is that they have blogs of their own, and all of them are worth visiting. So, I made a few changes, and have added most of their blogs to the Blog Roll.
The first change I made was to call the list, "The Blog Roll". Before, it was titled "More Blogs I Read". But everytime I've referred to it in the course of my posts, I always mention it as "The Blog Roll". So it seemed like a very natural change to make.
The first new addition is Blondie's Blog. Blondie had actually posted a few comments before LOL Day rolled around, so it's only fair that I added her first.
There were two blogs from Leigh Smith that I added--Aimless Ramblings and Leigh Smith. It didn't seem fair to add one and not the other, so both of them are on the roll.
Here are the other additions that came about as a result of LOL Day:
From Cat, we get Giggles, Grins, And Reflections. The title says it all.
From Clint and Chelsea, we get Learning Domestic Discipline: The Blog, and excellent source for those delving into the DD lifestyle.
From Kenzie, we have His Cheeky Sub. Again, I think the title says it all.
And last, but certainly not least, we have abby's Finally Finding "Me".
You can visit them by using the links in this post or by clicking on them in "The Blog Roll". Happy reading to you, be sure to leave them a comment--bloggers do like to get somments--and remember to tell them that Dr. Ken sent you!

It's Only Fair

Here's the rest of that old photo set from Spanked Sweeties, with Clare Fonda getting a well-warmed bottom from Kyle Johnson.

Stop The Crop
This is the type of photo I really hate--and there's a lot of them around.
Now, obviously, I don't object to the subject matter. It's a nice depiction of a spanking. But clearly, this is a cartoon that appeared in one of the early Men's magazines or Pin-up style magazines. So if it's a cartoon--WHERE'S THE $#%^ING CAPTION?!?!?
Why would you save the picture of a cartoon and not include the caption? It may be a nice drawing, but cropping out the punchline makes this a very incomplete experience to me and makes no sense. It's like cropping out the watermark of a photo. It's just wrong. (Do you really think, for example, that if you crop out the "Punished Brats" logo from a photo that we're going to think it's somehow one of your photos? That you took it or are in it? Trust me, fans of a site such as PB know one of their photos when we see it.)
Thankfully, we have sites like the Chicago Spanking Review. I'm sure I could find the complete picture there. But I shouldn't have to do research on something like this.
I realize that whoever posted this drawing may simple have been re-posting it, and someone else is guilty of making the changes. But whoever did it--stop cropping captions and watermarks out of pictures, people!

Kim And Chelsea
So, Kim Kardashian has posed nude.....again. This time, it's for Paper Magazine. She's standing in a trash bag (editorial comment, Paper?), all oiled up, her famous bottom on display, and the whole picture probably Photoshopped to within an inch of it's life.
Apparently we're all supposed to get so excited about this that we all rush to our computers and social media devices and cause the Internet to crash, hence the "Break The Internet" title. Last time I checked, the Internet was working just fine.
There are other photos with the article, including one of Kim featuring full-frontal nudity. I considered tracking it down and posting it, but ultimately decided I just wasn't that interested. You can try searching for it, if you want.
Needless to say, this latest publicity stunt didn't go unnoticed. Comic Chelsea Handler decided to mock the Kardashian cover by taking her own photo, and posted it on Instagram side-by-side with the magazine cover.
Along with the picture, she messaged, "Can you believe more than 2 ass can fit on the same screen? Guess which one's real. Your move, instagram."
(The "Your move, Instagram", is a reference to Instagram's no nudity policy. Instagram had pulled a photo of Chelsea topless in the past.)
Now, I've never met either of these ladies, and the chance of my ever meeting them is right around 0%. The chance of my spanking either one is probably even less--more than likely a negative number. But I can honestly say that, given the choice and the chance, I would choose Chelsea every time.
Besides, she might like that sort of thing.
