A Written Invitation

It's not easy for a Spanker to figure out who might be a potential Spankee. Life would be a whole lot simpler if interested ladies would just wear something like this......

Pixie Cheer

This lady should look very familiar to many of you.........

Amber "Pixie" Wells is one of the top Spanking Models out there. She's also one of the driving forces behind the site Punished Brats and appears in a number of their videos. On top of that, her blog, Spanking Pixie, is one of the most popular on the web.

Last week Pixie announced that she would be taking a brief leave of absence due to some medical tests/treatment. The exact nature of the issues is not discussed--the lady is entitled to her privacy, after all, and just because you're a blogger doesn't mean you have to tell everything about everything. A more recent post reveals that some of the medical issues were "scary", but it sounds like she has come through them and is busy recovering.

There's been a wonderful outpouring of support on her blog, with a large number of people leaving comments on her last two posts--you can check them out yourself by clicking the link to Spanking Pixie in the blog roll on the right hand side of the screen under "Blogs I Read Daily".
I have no doubt there are also probably going to be many e-mails for her to read through when she gets the chance.

I'd like to ask all of you to do something a little different. I think it would cheer her up no end to be inundated with "Get Well" cards via snail mail. I think she would just light up if her hubby came back from the post office and dumped a bag of cards in her lap. There's just something about an actual card, as opposed to e-mail or a blog comment.

I bought my card tonight. You don't have to spend a lot of money to send her your best wishes. Heck, a homemade card would do the trick just as well! And the cost of a U.S. postage stamp is still cheap when compared with the rest of the world. So, for very little, you can let a sweet, charming, warm and wonderful lady know how much she means to all of us in the spanking community and how much we're hoping for her speedy recovery.

Her snail mail address is on her blog, but I'll also post it here. Send your cards to:

We love you, Pixie! Get well soon!

Happy St. Patrick's Day!

It's March 17th, the day when the whole world is Irish!

Hoist your glasses of green beer, belt out a chorus of, "Oh Danny Boy", and smile at every red-haired woman or man that you see. And when it comes to the wearin' of the green, might I recommend this shirt from Cafe Press to all the celebrating spankos out there:

I like the additional comment at the end. If the shirt just read, "Spank Me, I'm Irish", that would be fine, but it would pretty much limit the shirt to being worn on St. Patty's day. But by adding the phrase, "And very naughty" you can now put the shirt to year-round use--it's suitable for 4th of July picnics, Saturday night dates, Arbor Day....

As for everyone else--don't worry, this shirt from Zazzle has got you covered:

A Golden Moment

The Oscars were given out this past Sunday and, as usual, the event was shown in a very long telecast. As is to be expected, there's plenty of post-Oscar buzz and controversy. A lot of people are up in arms about the omission of Farrah Fawcett and Bea Arthur during the "In Memorium" segment. People can't seem to decide whether Steve Martin and Alec Baldwin as co=hosts was good or bad. I, personally, could have done without that Interpretive Dance crap ("Okay, you two run across the stage, and slide. Now leap in the air. Now run some more. Okay, now you two do the same thing, and everyone in the background--twirl!") Talk about a waste of time! i would much rather have just listened to the orchestra play the music while clips from the various films ran.

My favorite Oscar moment, though, came with the announcement of the winner for "Best Actress", and involved Sandra Bullock, the winner, and her friend and fellow nominee, Meryl Streep.

The two ladies have been carrying on a friendly Oscar feud ever since the nominees were announced. I heard Sandra Bullock telling the tale on the David Letterman show several weeks ago, so if my re-telling is faulty, blame my lousy memory.

On the day the Best Actresses nominees were announced, Sandra sent Meryl a bouquet of flowers along with a lovely handwritten card that read, "You're going down, bitch!" Meryl, in turn, cut the heads off of the flowers and sent them back to Sandra with a note saying, "Bring it on!" The two have been playfully taking shots at the other as the Oscars approached.

That brings us to Sunday night. When Sandra was announced as the winner, she stood, hugged her husband and a few of the other people she was sitting with, and then started across the aisle to where Meryl Streep was sitting. Sandra leaned down and reached out to give Meryl a hug. Meryl, in turn, reached out to embrace her friend--at which point, Sandra pulled back, aborting the hug, turned her back on Meryl and headed for the stage, leaving Meryl hugging empty air!

That's when my favorite moment occurred. As Sandra Bullock walked away........

.....Meryl Streep gave a laugh that said, "Oh, YOU!", reached out, and gave Sandra a swat on the behind--something, I must admit, I wouldn't mind doing!

Sandra didn't acknowledge Meryl's love tap in any way, and just proceeded to the stage. She gave a lovely acceptance speech, and got in another shot or two at Meryl in the process.

I think the Oscar telecast would be more tolerable if we could more moments like that one. The award for "Best Swat" goes to..........

I Wish......

The picture below is from 2006 or so, and features the incredibly beautiful Penelope Cruz and Salma Hayek. The two starred together that year in a light western romp called Banditas. I'm not sure if they're doing publicity for the film, or if this is the film's opening. You can't really tell from the picture.

I do know one thing, though--and it's a sentence I never thought that I would say--but I do wish that for one brief moment I could have been Penelope Cruz.........

.......And this is why:

Something For Everyone

I'm going to take a moment to point out the obvious.

If you've read my profile over to the right, then it should come as no surprise when I tell you that I'm a male, straight, and a Top (or, as I prefer to say it, a Spanker.) Consequently, whenever I run photos here that are not out-and-out spanking photos, they tend to be of attractive females with cute, spankable bottoms because--well, go back and read the first line of this paragraph. I repeat--male, straight, Spanker. Since the pictures that get shown are my choice, they tend to reflect my preference.

However, I'm certainly aware that Spankers come in all shapes and sizes--and genders. Spanking enthusiasts run the full spectrum--not just Male spanks Female, but Female spanks Female, Female spanks Male, and Male spanks Male. There's good Spanko fun to be had for everyone, no matter what your spanking of choice may be.

So with that in mind, let today's pictures take that "something for everyone" approach. Here's a picture for the Men, and--let's be honest--probably a number of Women:

As for any spanking--well, I leave that up to your imaginations......

Prince Valiant

A while back, I did some posts about spanking and the Archie comics. There were a couple of examples from the actual comic book, as well as a lot of fan art--some of it quite good. Today we're going to take a look at another comic strip--Prince Valiant.

Here's what Wikipedia has to say about the strip:

"Prince Valiant in the Days of King Arthur", or simply "Prince Valiant", is a long-run comic strip created by Hal Foster in 1937. It is an epic adventure that has told a continuous story during its entire history, and the full stretch of that story now totals more than 3700 Sunday strips. Currently, the strip appears weekly in more than 300 American newspapers, according to its distributor, King Features Syndicate.

"Edward, the Duke of Windsor, called Prince Valiant the "greatest contribution to English literature in the past hundred years." Generally regarded by comics historians as one of the most impressive visual creations ever syndicated, the strip is noted for its realistically rendered panoramas and the intelligent, sometimes humorous, narrative. The format does not employ word balloons. Instead, the story is narrated in captions positioned at the bottom or sides of panels."

Being a Knight of the Round Table doesn't mean you don't have problems, of course. Especially if you happen to marry a lady who used to Queen of the Misty Isles. As we see in this first example, the Prince knows how to handle her--

While I enjoy the artwork and the amount of detail in each panel, what I like most of all is actually the last two panels shown. The Prince rides away feeling guilty for what he's done, and would return to make amends if not for the fact that duty call. Aleta, his wife, on the other hand, refers to him as a "magnificent beast", and adds that all she wants is for him to return safely from his adventure. If he does, then as far as she is concerned, he can spank her as often as he wishes. Let's hope she got her wish!

The apple doesn't fall far from the tree, according to the old saying, so it should come as no surprise that the next drawing features Arn, the son of Valiant and Aleta-

I have no idea as to the identity of the girl in the picture, or why Arn has her tucked under his arm and over his knee. Again, I like the caption--that "Arn learned how this is done by associating with his mother." That could actually be interpreted a couple of ways. The first is that his mother got her wish about Prince Valiant and subsequently got spanked a lot, with Arn observing these episodes on any number of occasions. The second--and probably the most likely--is that Arn got his own fair share of discipline expertly executed by his mother, so when it was time to dish out a spanking to this young lady, he knew exactly what to do. I'm sure his mother would be happy to know that he did "a fair job" of it. I imagine the young lady being spanked has a very different opinion.

I know even less about the next drawing, which doesn't identify any of the participants. One site where I saw this drawing claimed that one of the men was, again, Arn--which would probably earn him the name, "The Spanko Prince"--but looking at the drawing, I'm not really sure. The "tucked under the arm" position does look familiar, though. Either way, it looks like justice--in this case, bottom justice--is going to be done--

(A footnote on the third picture: It turns out that there was another Arn in Valiant's past, an old friend, I think. So this picture is perhaps of THAT Arn, which would explain why he looks nothing like the drawing of Prince V's son.)

Unlike the Archie comics, I could not find much in the way of fan art when it came to the Prince Valiant comic strip. This doesn't mean that it doesn't exist, of course--only that I haven't seen any examples. They could very well be out there. What I did find, though, was someone who took the first picture and put in a little time with Photoshop or a similar program to show Valiant's spanking of Aleta the way it should be--

Now, that's the way to handle a naughty wife! All of you Princes out there, take note!
